Chartered Accountant Test
The Chartered Accountant Test is designed for candidates who are Chartered Accountant (CA) qualified members of their relevant professional body, such as:
- CIMA, ACCA & ICAEW in the United Kingdom
- CPA in the United States
- CAANZ and CPA in Australia and New Zealand
- ACCA Internationally
This test assesses accounting knowledge and skills for roles in Public Practice Chartered Accounting firms (manager level and below) and generalist roles in industry or commerce such as Company Accountant or Financial Controller where the role requires knowledge across all areas of accounting.
Country-specific tests are available for the United Kingdom, Australia & New Zealand, with annually updated questions to reflect current taxation rates and financial reporting requirements for each country.
This test covers four core accounting activities:
- Financial Reporting
- Core Accounting
- Management / Business Advisory
Recruiting managers gain insight into a candidate's skills and knowledge in each of these four activities and identify performance in the activities most relevant to the vacant role, as well as a comparative overall score and performance against a norm group of other qualified accountants.
"the abilities being shown by the recruited candidate correlates with the outcome of their test, and they are progressing and delivering to expectations"

"The service offered by Accountests has been a game changer for our recruitment of professional staff. The ability to quickly assess the relevant technical skills of candidates has significantly improved our decision making process.
The design of the Part Qualified and Chartered Accountant tests is well thought out and delivers a great benchmark assessment. We have even applied the tests to existing staff to assess their skills progression as part of our internal performance review process."
